A Public Hearing will be held by the NSW Independent Planning Commission on a State significant development application (SSD-50505215) lodged by Bullawah Wind Farm Pty Ltd for the construction and operation of a wind farm with up to 143 wind turbines, battery energy storage system and associated infrastructure located approximately 28 kilometres southeast of Hay in the South West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ).

The NSW Independent Planning Commission has today approved the Sundown Solar Farm (SSD-8911) located within the New England Renewable Energy Zone in the Inverell Shire Local Government Area, approximately 30 kilometres east of Inverell and 38 kilometres west of Glen Innes.

The local community is invited to make written submissions to the Independent Planning Commission about a State significant infrastructure application known as the Port Botany Quayline Equalisation project (SSI-79878564), lodged by Port Botany Operations Pty Ltd as Trustee for Port Botany Unit Trust (NSW Ports). The project site is located within the existing Port Botany container and bulk liquids port in Botany Bay, within the Bayside Council and Randwick City Council local government areas.
