The development application is for a new hard rock quarry that would extract, process and transport up to 700,000 tonnes of hard rock material per annum to supply construction material to the already approved nearby Liverpool Range Wind Farm project. 

The NSW Independent Planning Commission has today approved the Yanco Battery Energy Storage System (SSD-067478479) located approximately seven kilometres south of Leeton in the Leeton Shire Council Local Government Area.

The community will be able to have its say at a public meeting on the Uniting Kingscliff Seniors Housing Redevelopment, a State significant development application (SSD-47105958) by Uniting NSW.ACT. The application seeks approval for a 120 bed residential aged care facility, 199 independent living units, ancillary amenities and landscaping. 

The NSW Independent Planning Commission has refused the development application from Verdant Earth Technologies Ltd to restart the Redbank Power Station at Warkworth using biomass instead of coal tailings as fuel.
