Statement from the Commission

Commission welcomes acting Executive Director

Posted: 25.09.2020

A new acting Executive Director will lead the Office of the Independent Planning Commission for the next four months.

Dr Jacqueline Tracey has worked as an executive in the NSW public sector for the past 20 years. She has a strong track record in leading high-performing teams to deliver innovative policy and strategic reform outcomes to address complex and contentious land and natural resource management issues.

Jacqueline joins the Commission on secondment from Local Land Services NSW, where she is Director, Policy and Reform. She has previously held positions with the Natural Resources Commission, Department of Primary Industries, the former Office of Environment and Heritage and former Department of Natural Resources.

Jacqueline replaces Samantha McLean in the Executive Director’s role while she takes a period of extended leave.

We welcome Jacquie to the Commission and look forward to Sam’s return after a well-deserved break early in the new year.
